Beer Academy

5pm – A SWEET PAIRING: COFFEE BEER & LEMON BARS 

Brickway Brewing & Distillery will be presenting their Coffee Vanilla Stout: A light roasty Oatmeal Cream Stout with additions of Vanilla and locally roasted Cold brewed Coffee.  Exceptionally drinkable at 5.5% ABV.

Brad Groesser with The Sojoun Cafe in Ralston will be presenting his Grandma Gay’s Classic lemon bars.

6pm – CRAFT BREW & BAR-B-QUE

Keg Creek Brewing will be presenting an American style Breakdown Brown Ale with a little more bitterness and a citrus finish from late kettle & whirlpool hopping in addition to the chocolate, slightly roasted, medium bodied backbone.

Horsemen’s Park will be presenting their NEW BBQ Smoked Brisket Burnt Ends which is tossed lightly in their signature house BBQ sauce.

7pm – THE PERFECT PAIRING: CRAFT BEER & CHEESE

Green Flash Brewing will be presenting their Passion Fruit Kicker. A smooth and sweet ale with tart, fruity flavors layered with passion fruit tea and passion fruit juice.

Fuehrer’s Cheespred will be presenting their very own Fuehrer’s Cheespred.  It’s a signature blend of American and Cheddar cheeses.  Serve it with chips, fresh vegetables, crackers, pretzels, on baked potatoes, and much more!

8pm – DELICIOUS DUO: CRAFT BEER & BEEF BITES

Empyrean Brewing Company will be presenting their new Mind Over Mango IPA. Listen and find stillness to receive the mindful union of bitter hops and sweet mango, symbols of health, wealth and immorality.

Hormel’s Fontanini meatballs provided by Sysco which are made with two types of Italian cheese, garlic and a special blend of Italian seasoning. Old fashioned, homemade appearance with an exceptional Italian taste.

Some info about attending the Beer Academy:
  • Your General Admission or VIP ticket grants you access to the Beer Academy sessions.
  • There is no fee to attend the Beer Academy sessions.
  • Upon entering the festival grounds, stop by the Beer Academy tent to sign up for the sessions you are interested in (based on availability) and receive a ticket.
  • Limited seating – first come, first served…when each session is full, it’s full, so please sign up early in the day for your best chance to attend.
  • Beer Academy tent is located on festival grounds in the middle of the Brewer’s tents.
  • Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes. 
  • Speakers and topics are scheduled to change without notice. Sorry, no one with a “Designated Driver” ticket allowed in the Beer Academy sessions.
